  Глянцевое покрытие - по химическому составу, представляет собой металлические мыла эфиров смоляных кислот. Их наносят на стеклянные бусины мазком или напылением, после обжига они создают очень разнообразные цветовые оттенки. Слои глянца прозрачны, поэтому они не подавляют характер стеклянных бусин. Глянец, также повышает стойкость поверхности стеклянных бусин. Очищенные стеклянные бусины предварительно нагревают до 100°С и помещают в полировальную емкость с навеской раствора глянца, где происходит покрытие. После извлечения из контейнера, стеклянные бусины обжигают в печи для закрепления.
